One of my favorite websites is www.wordle.net. You can create endless word clouds for free on this site about a variety of topics. I have had my students create word clouds about themselves, about books, informative statistics, and current events. I recently had students create a word cloud based upon a poem they had written for their language arts class. They were able to get credit for their work in both classes. The possibilities are endless with this cool tool. I created a short video or a class last semester to show same sample word clouds created on www.wordle.net.
